A few days ago we noticed something about the hardcover copy of Delivering Happiness… it’s headless! Don’t believe us? Just lay the book flat or hold it upright with the binding flush towards you. The cover image shows an undershirt, shirt collar, a neck and then, yep, nothing.
But what’s a book about happiness, without a smiling face? That’s why we’ve decided to put out a call for all Happy Faces. People, animals and monuments included. The more creative, the better! Have a four legged friend? Live near the Statue of Liberty? Is Mount Rushmore in your backyard? We’d love to see Fido, Lady Liberty or George Washington’s face on Delivering Happiness.
When you’ve snapped your Happy Face photo, upload it to our Facebook Wall, tag yourself and add a description if you’d like. Every other week we’ll select a new Happy Face from all of the fan submissions to serve as our official “face” of Delivering Happiness.
Want to get more involved by adding your flair to Delivering Happiness? Join us on Stickybits! Scan the barcode of your book, or any Delivering Happiness book, using the Stickybits application to add digital content such as photos, videos and comments to Delivering Happiness for anybody in the world (that has a copy of Delivering Happiness and a smartphone) to see.
